England and West Indies will play three test matches in July 2020

England and West Indies cricket have decided to play their three test matches series from July 8 behind closed doors.

 

ECB has also confirmed that these matches will be hosted at two venues i.e, at Ageas Bowl & Old Trafford.

 

England Cricket is ready to host West Indies at the Ageas Bowl from 8th Of July 2020 by following all the guidelines issued by the officials.

 

This will also be the first ever international match to be played in the world after three months of Lockdown due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

 

Second and third matches of the series will be played at Old Trafford from 16th and 24th of July respectively.

 

Venues will be Biosecure:

 

Both the stadiums i.e, Old Trafford and Ageas Bowl are selected as Bio-secure venues as the team hotels are nearby and no outsider will be allowed to come there.

 

Both the venues have been divided into two Zones which are Inner Zone and Outer Zone.

All the players of West Indies and England Cricket will be in the Inner zone while the outer zone is made for broadcasters, media and operational staff.

 

There are many guidelines which are to be followed throughout the series.

 

Guidelines are that players should be tested regularly for Coronavirus and every corner of the stadium should have hand sanitizers.

 

England will kick off there summer season:

 

The actual England versus West Indies series was scheduled to begin in June but due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the world, the series was postponed.

 

England Cricket is also now hopeful to kick start their summer season with lots of scheduled cricket as they have to play Test and T20Is against Pakistan, three ODIs against Ireland and six white-ball matches against Australia.

 

ENGLAND CRICKET VS WEST INDIES CRICKET FIXTURES:

 

July 8 – first Test, Ageas Bowl

 

July 16 – second Test, Old Trafford

 

July 24 – third Test, Old Trafford
