Cricket Hong Kong Under-19 50-Over Cup is set to commence from Monday 13th July, 2020.
Five Clubs are going to participate in this 50-Over Cup.
Cricket is set to resume in Hong Kong with the 50-Over Cup which is going to start from July 13th at the CHK Cricket Centre in Gin Drinker Bay.
U-19 Players from five premier clubs of Hong Kong will participate in this 50-Over Cup which will run until August 7,2020.
This will be the first cricket series to be played in Hong Kong since the government imposed restrictions due to the Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Spectators aren’t allowed at the ground concerning the safety reasons of the players. Each club participating in this Cup are allowed to bring only a limited numbers of members (non-playing) in order to follow the guidelines made by the government.
Jawaid Iqbal, The CHK Elite D&P Coach Said,
“U19 50-Over Cup will give us a great opportunity to see Hong Kong’s best Under 19 club cricketers in action. We will be following player performances closely as we look to finalise the Under 19 squad to prepare for the ICC U19 Cricket World Cup Qualifiers to be held in December”
Venue and Streaming:
All the matches of this 50-Over Cup will be played on the weekdays at the CHK Cricket Centre in Gin Drinker Bay.
CricHQ, a cricket scoring website will provide live scores of this Cup.
