3.Pakistan Super League
Pakistan Super League also known as PSL is another professional T20 cricket league, started in 2015.
This is a copied version of Indian T20 League IPL which runs on the same format.
This league is based in Pakistan which previously featured five teams but now comprises six teams.
PSL doesn’t give an option to buy association of independently owned teams, instead this league has a single entity in which each team is owned and controlled by the investors.
These matches are played on Pakistani grounds in the months of February and March with the concept of Double Round Robin format.
The top four teams with the most winnings qualify for the playoffs and culminate in the championship game, the PSL Cup Final.
PSL (Pakistan Super League) was started in 2016 and till now it has successfully hosted 4 seasons as the last season i.e,2020 final is still pending.
First season of PSL was won by Islamabad United by defeating Quetta Gladiators in the finals.
Peshawar Zalmi won the title in 2017, Islamabad United again in 2018, and Quetta Gladiators in 2019.
Islamabad United is the most successful PSL team while most Runs and Wickets are at the names of Kamran Akmal and Wahab Riaz respectively.
