West Indies cricket announced player draft of Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 Cup 2020

Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 Cup 2020 is expected to commence this year in November like last year.

This Super 50 Cup has been hosted by Cricket West Indies to promote the local and retired players of the country so that with the help of this tournament, they will find new talent who will get a chance to play internationally.

Rahkeem Cornwall performed brilliantly in last year’s tournament due to which he got a chance to debut in Test and T20 format for West Indies cricket.

On 15th June, 2020 CWI hosted a Zoom meeting through which they conducted the players draft for the 2020/2021 season of Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 Cup.

There were only two players left in each squad to complete, so each franchise made two picks to complete their squad of players to 15.

Barbados Pride were the champions of last year’s Colonial Medical Insurance Super50 Cup and they will be playing this year to defend their championship.
