The seventh edition of Shpageeza Cricket League 2020 is going to start from September 13 and all the matches will be held at Kabul Cricket Stadium.
Afghanistan Cricket Board has confirmed the return of the 7th season of the Shpageeza Cricket League which will run for a period of two weeks starting from September 13 and final will take place on 25th of September 2020.
Till now 6 seasons of the Shpageeza Cricket League has been successfully hosted by the Afghanistan Cricket Board which started in 2014.
A total of 6 teams participate in this cricket league which includes some big international cricketers from the other countries too.
Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 in the world, many cricket leagues and international tournaments have been canceled this year, so the Shpageeza Cricket League 2020 is going to be very interesting and thrilling for the cricket fans.

The six participating teams are Amo Sharks, Band-e Amir Dragons, Boost Defenders, Kabul Eagles, Mis Ainak Knights and Spin Ghar Tigers.
Band-e Amir Dragons are the current champions of the Shpageeza Cricket League and they will be looking forward to winning the trophy once again.
However, Spin Ghar Tigers are the most successful team of this cricket league as they have won the title two times.
Earlier the TV Rights of Shpageeza Cricket League was with the Afghan channel named 1TV but for the seventh season it has been signed by the National Radio Television of Afghanistan (RTA).
ACB CEO Mr. Stanikzai said,
“High quality broadcasting of the league is our priority and I am pleased that ACB and RTA could collaborate again for the same purpose after a successful sixth edition last year. “
