During a chat with Sri Lankan player Angelo Mathews, Dhawan expressed hope that the IPL is possible this year.

‘It is expected that the IPL will be organized this year. If that happens then it would be good…
For that we have to take care of all aspects related to our security and also follow whatever safety standards are there against Corona.

The 34-year-old batsman said,
“Once we return to the field, all of us will be hungry for our performance and would like to perform well for our team.”

The Delhi Capitals batsman in the IPL said,
“It would not be an ideal situation to play the IPL without an audience, but if such games can be resumed then we are ready for it.”
