Last Seasons Performance of Kolkata Knight Riders:

In the United Arab Emirates, the Chennai Super Kings had an uneventful IPL 2020 season. The three-time champions finished seventh in the points standings. Before 2020, the Super Kings had made the playoffs in every season they had played. In the Middle East, however, the run came to an end last year. Despite finishing seventh in 2020, the Chennai Super Kings’ management kept the majority of their players.

SWOT Analysis of Kolkata Knight Riders for IPL 2021:

Strengths — Foreign players

The Kolkata Riders have one of the highest international rankings in IPL 2021. It goes without saying. The greatest game changers on your team are Andre Russell and Sunil Narine. In IPL 2021, Skipper Eoin Morgan will be happy to lead the squad from the top.

Weakness — Absence of appropriate  backup choices for Dinesh Kartik

The Crusaders from Kolkata struggled to end the matches if Dinesh Karthik and Andre Russell did not shoot the slog. Sadly, in most games last year, both batsmen were unable to midsize the ball. Though Dinesh Karthik has a solid middle order, there is an enormous question mark, which player will take Karthik for some reason should he fail.

Opportunities — Chance for uncapped

playersMany players would seek a spot in their World Cup squad in IPL 2021, with two World Cup T20 tournaments taking place within two years. The Knight Riders in Kolkata have a large team of Indian uncapped players. Shubman Gill’s home in Team India was recently cemented.

By batting in the top order of the Kolkata Knight Rider, Nitish Rana and Rahul Tripathi could make a point. The Mumbai Indians did well with Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav, who won a national call-up for the award. If they continue working well for the KKR, Tripathi, and Rana could break into the Indian side.

Threats — Issues in spin department

Sunil Narine is the Kolkata Knight Riders’ top U.S. spinner. However, the operation of Narine came under the scanner. His latest action did not make him as good as the former bowling style. The practise in IPL 2021 is projected to be nil in Harbhajan Singh.

Top Performers from Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2020:

Young Shubman Gill demonstrated his class by finishing as KKR’s leading run-scorer this season, but he would be aware that he should have finished with a far higher average than 33.84 and, most specifically, a strike rate of 117.96.

Varun Chakravarthy was arguably the most important positive for KKR this season. The secret spinner was a huge player in their campaign, delivering nearly every time he was introduced into the attack. He was the only bowler to take a five-wicket haul this season, and his ability and accuracy amazed everyone.

Player’s to look out for this season:

Eoin Morgan —

England’s T20I leader and a fiery left-handed batsman deserve to be at the top of this list. Morgan is a steady yet challenging batsman. He’s won a lot of games for England. He has also scored over 1000 runs in the IPL. He recently played his 100th T20I match, a feat accomplished by a minimal number of cricket players. So Morgan combines excellence, experience, and power-hitting. He will be a valuable addition to the KKR batting lineup.

Shakib Al-Hasan —

Shakib is the only participant in Bangladesh in the KKR team. He was a steady player over the years. Shakib made his debut in 2006 in Bangladesh. The all-rounder has since taken on a new height from him and his nation. Shakib took 59 wickets, and produced in IPL cricket at a pace of 126.66. He can be a player for the Knight Riders. He is one player. The 33-year-old will have to move at the largest level yet in himself.

Predictions for IPL 2021:

In 2012 and 2014, the KKR IPL winners remain a team that, despite significant changes, can never be removed. They have Eoin Morgan and Sunil Narine and Andre Russell, one of the game’s best leaders. Furthermore, star Allrounder Shakib al-Hasan will back this year; when bowling on low-turning wickets, the former Captain from Bangladesh is especially dangerous. Karun Nair, Shubman Gill, and Kuldeep Yadav are skilled, if not specter-like, for the Indian contingent, while Harbhajan Singh is retired to make its Indian players one of the weakest.

Probable Playing XI:

Shubman Gill, Rahul Tripathi, Nitish Rana, Eoin Morgan (C), Andre Russell, Dinesh Karthik (WK), Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins, Shivam Mavi, Varun Chakravarthy & Prasidh Krishna
