Bi-lateral T20I Series Details:
Golden Eagles are all set to host France Women’s cricket team in a five matches T20I series in July 2021 at the National Performance Centre in Krefeld. This series is going to be a great platform for the squads to prepare for the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup European Qualifiers in Scotland.
It will also be the first T20I series that Germany Women’s will play at their home soil which definitely gives them an edge over the opponent.
Germany played their last T20I match during August 2020 when they locked horns with Austria and defeated them by 5-0. It was a memorable series for some of the players who did well with bat and ball. Christina Gough finished up the series being the highest run scorer with 239 runs in three innings while Emma Bargna bagged 10 wickets in four innings. Germany Women’s Skipper Anuradha Doddaballapur registered her best T20I figures by taking five wickets and giving just one run.
German Skipper Anuradha Doddaballapur is excited to take the fields once again as she expressed her views on social media platform Twitter,
France Women’s national cricket team will be returning to the cricketing action after a gap of approx two years as their last encounter was with Austria during August 2019 in a Quadrangular T20I series which they had won by 2-0.
It was the same series during which France posted their highest ever total of 122 runs while Jennifer King (46*) and Emmanuelle Brelivet (5/14) were the highest individual scorers and best individual bowling figures respectively.
