Bermuda Cricket Board Announces Start of the 2020 Domestic Cricket League in T20 Format from 11th of July.

Bermuda like other countries had also suffered from coronavirus but now it has been declared free from Coronavirus cases so Bermuda Cricket Board has decided to commence it’s domestic season.

Domestic season of Bermuda Cricket will start from July 11, 2020 and will run until 6th September in the shortest format of the game.

This domestic season will be played in Premier and First division league matches at four venues across the Island – St. Davids County Cricket Club, St. George’s Cricket Club, Somerset Bridge Recreation Club and Somerset Cricket Club.

The Bermuda government has also issued some guidelines that are to be strictly followed by cricket officials so that no player can get any infection related to coronavirus.

Lloyd Smith, President of BCB said recently,

“We are excited to announce the commencement of the 2020 Domestic league and wish to thanks all the clubs, Ministry of Health, Department of Youth, Sport and Recreation and other Officials for their cooperation during this time – ensuring that we are able to move forward and operate using best practices as per the guidelines and requirements”
