Babar Azam has been appointed as the captain of the ODI team by replacing Sarfaraz Ahmed.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has released the list of its annual agreement with the players.
In this, former captain of Pakistan cricket team, Sarfraz Ahmed has been placed in B category.
The pact has included young fast bowler Naseem Shah and batsman Iftikhar Ahmed.
The PCB has announced the players’ annual agreement. Along with announcing it on Wednesday, he also announced the name of the captain of the ODI team.
Babar, who took over the captaincy of T20, has also been given the command of the ODI team.
Azhar Ali will captain the Test team.
There are only three names in the A category, Test captain Azhar, ODI and T20 captain Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Pakistan also announced the names of 18 male players who have received central contracts for the 2020-2021 season.
This contract will be effective from July 1, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Aamir and Wahab Riaz have not received a central contract.
while the category of Imam ul Haq, Sarfaraz Ahmed and Yasir has been reduced.
Sarfaraz Ahmed, who was removed from captaincy after an embarrassing defeat at home against Sri Lanka, has been placed in the B category in the annual contract by the PCB.

17-year-old young fast bowler Nasim Shah made his Test debut against Australia last year.
He achieved the distinction of being the youngest bowler to have done so in Tests by taking 5 wickets against Sri Lanka first in Karachi and then a huge hat-trick against Bangladesh.
Naseem’s bowler partner Shaheen Shah Afridi, who got the most Test wickets from Pakistan last season, has been promoted in the A category.
Shaheen has taken a total of 18 Tests and two T20 wickets and has been named in the A category alongside Test captain Azhar and ODI captain Babar.
