India has announced its 15-player squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, with Rohit Sharma leading the team’s charge to victory. The selection procedure drew a lot of interest, especially because the wicketkeeper position was so important.

Shivam Dube’s strong IPL performance won him a spot in the India of squad of World Cup, following his appearance in the last T20I series against Afghanistan. India’s spinners include Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal, while Jasprit Bumrah leads the pace battery, which includes Arshdeep Singh, Mohammed Siraj, and vice-captain Hardik Pandya.
The batting order includes obvious options such as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Virat Kohli, and Suryakumar Yadav, as well as skipper Rohit Sharma. Reserves include Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Khaleel Ahmed and Avesh Khan.
