England bowlers were unable to get Lara out despite their best efforts and he completed his 400 runs with the help of 43 fours and 4 sixes. This record of highest innings in Test cricket is still at his name.
Brian Lara has also hit an unbeaten 500 runs in an innings
Brian Lara’s hunger for runs was such that he did not even name the disappearance. Once he was set on the pitch.
