After a successful D10 tournament hosted earlier this year by the Emirates Cricket Board, the UAE is set to Emirates D20 Tournament which begins in the Emirates on December 06 2020.
The D20 tournament will have Dubai International stadium as the main venue and 6 teams will be aiming to lift the trophy in finals on 24th of December. The 6 teams will play twice among each other until the playoff stage with 2 semi finals and the most wanted final.

Khalid Al Zarooni, Vice Chairman Emirates Cricket Board, said:
“Following on from our successful hosting of the Emirates D10 tournament during July and August of this year, it is my pleasure to announce that the Emirates Cricket Board has finalized a domestic D20 (20-over) tournament.This initiative is an integral step in promoting and developing the sport in the UAE.”

The D20 tournament is sponsored by on-line fantasy gaming platform named Dream 11 who earlier became the title sponsors of the Indian Premier League whilst the sports portal SKY247.net will be another key partner for the tournament. Therefore, the tournament will be known as the ‘Dream 11 D20 tournament’ powered by SKY247.net.
