D10 tournament is being organized to resume cricket activities in UAE from 24 July 2020

UAE Cricket Board announced the first season of the D10 tournament which is going to be the most exciting and furious T10 format ever organised in a country.

While there is talk that BCCI may organize IPL 2020 this year in UAE, it is possible that UAE Cricket Board is going to make its preparations through this tournament.

T10 format is very much like by the fans and in view of the increasing popularity of the ongoing European Cricket Series, UAE is also going to organize the D10 tournament which will start on 24 July and its final match will be played on 7 August.

The United Arab Emirates Cricket Board, along with ITW consulting, has announced the tournament on this past Sunday which will be played for 12 days between 6 teams.

This new D10 tournament will be very exciting in which four Emirates Cricket teams of UAE will also participate along with 2 Emirates blue teams which will be formed by Emirates Cricket itself.

In this D10 tournament, both junior and senior players will participate, a total of 34 matches will be played and the best two teams will qualify for the finals.

The ITW consulting committee has been awarded the contract for live broadcasting of the D10 tournament which will be live streamed by Etisalat in UAE, Cricket Gateway, and other well-known platforms in India & Pakistan, as well as the rest of the Middle East, and across the UK and the USA.

Khalid Al Zarooni, Vice Chairman of Emirates Cricket Board, said:

“We are very pleased to announce this important milestone in the development of our sport. It has always been a vision of the (Emirates Cricket) Board to develop and add an annual top-tier domestic tournament to the UAE calendar.”
