For the conduct of IPL 2020, Emirates Cricket Board has proposed to India to organize this tournament but BCCI isn’t in any condition to take any decision as Coronavirus cases are still increasing in India.
After Sri Lanka Cricket, the Emirates Cricket Board has offered to host the postponed season of the Indian Premier League in the United Arab Emirates.
The UAE is no stranger to hosting the IPL, they have already hosted 20 matches in 2014 to avoid a clash of dates with the general election in India.
However, no response to this decision of the Indian Board (BCCI) is being expected after this proposal.
BCCI treasurer Arun Dhumal said that UAE has offered to host the IPL but no decision can be taken on it at the moment because during this time there is no question of traveling internationally.
The BCCI has given up hope of resuming the IPL as Coronavirus cases are still very high in India.
In a scenario where the government is not able to curb sports tournaments, in the meantime, will the BCCI take the IPL to foreign land?

As the board did in 2009 (South Africa) and 2014? Dhumal said that the health and safety of the players and all the participants is our priority.
At the moment, the journey of the whole world has come to a standstill, so there is nothing that we can decide.
Dhumal further said that if the IPL is to be taken out, then the franchisees will also have to talk.
On the one hand everyone believes that if the IPL is held in India between closed doors then it will be fine because in any case, the franchisees and sponsors are going to be harmed.
