South African Players Give A Sneak Peek Into Their Bio-bubble Life In The UAE

The pitch at National Stadium Cricket Ground in Karachi is balanced. Provides even bounce, even turn and hence no player is benefitted in particular. The team who plays good cricket in both innings tends to win. As per the data, teams which have batted second have won the game more. Hence, it is likely that teams winning the toss will opt for chasing.

Head To Head Matches Numbers:

In 16 head to head matches, West Indies Women have won 13 matches while Pakistan managed to win the rest of the three matches.

A five match series was held between the both teams in July, 2021. West Indies Women had won the series with 3-2 as the final score.

Strength and Weaknesses of both the Teams:

Pakistan Women

The biggest strength that Pakistan Women will have is that matches are being played at their home ground in their home conditions. They are used to the match ground and know exactly how the wicket behaves. They will not face any adaptability issues.

The previous series between West Indies Women and Pakistan Women ended up with 3-2, West Indies winning the series. Series win for any team is a confidence booster. Hence, Pakistan’s team might have issues deciding their playing eleven as they might be low in confidence.

West Indies Women

The team has experienced players like Stafanie Taylor, Deandra Dottin etc. Experience of these players counts a lot and are highly beneficial for the team. Stafanie Taylor, who is also leading the side, is extremely talented and has represented West Indies in 130 matches. She has scored 4929 runs and taken 145 wickets.

In the last series, West Indies women have won the first three matches but lost the last two matches, hence, consistency is a problem for the team. Despite having quality players, form and consistency of the team is under question.
