IPL 2021: Full Squad Analysis of Sunrisers Hyderabad including their strength, weakness, Probable Playing XI and Dream11 Fantasy Preview

One of the IPL’s most reliable teams was the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Late entry into the division was the Orange Army. However, in their short lifespan they already have one title. In the 2016 season, the Sunrisers won the IPL under the guidance of David Warner.

Last Season Performance of Sunrisers Hyderabad:

The Sunrisers have yet to win a championship. They started slow in the United Arab Emirates last year. They later returned and beat the competition’s top three teams to advance to the playoffs. Until the Delhi Capitals finished their IPL 2020 campaign, Hyderabad eliminated the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

SWOT Analysis of Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL 2021:

Strengths — Top order

David Warner will have to choose between Bairstow and Saha as his opening partner, which will be a difficult decision. Because of his high-level performances and the fact that he is an Indian player, it would be difficult to overlook Saha.

Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson offer solid support to the opening batsmen. In the meantime, Pandey contributed a couple of useful innings for the Hyderabad franchise.

Weakness — Middle order

The Sunrisers can’t depend on their top three batsmen to deliver. Singh, Sharma, Garg, and even Abdul Samad must strive to perfect their support for the top order. Jason Holder, Mitchell Marsh, and Mohammad Nabi are all strong overseas finishers for the Sunrisers.

Opportunities — Golden chance for all rounders

In their middle order, the Sunrisers Hyderabad have a lot of young and inexperienced players. They do, indeed, have some well-known domestic cricketers with their all rounders section. Many people considered Vijay Shankar to be the next great issue in Indian cricket, but he has so far failed his fans.

Threats — Injury concerns

The injury problems of the Sunrisers Hyderabad players pose the most significant threat to the squad. Multiple players from the Hyderabad-based franchise were unable to play the entire tournament last year due to injuries. The Sunrisers will be hoping that Bhuvneshwar Kumar, a previous Purple Cap recipient, is eligible for the whole season.

Top Performers during the last Season:

Warner did the heavy lifting with the bat once again. At the end of the regular season, the Australian star picked out Manish Pandey as a positive, but it should be said that SRH were much too reliant on Warner, and later Williamson, to deliver. Pandey’s 425 runs were impressive, but the Sunrisers wanted him to help them win a few more games.

With the ball in his hands, Rashid Khan was once again impressive. The Afghan star ended the season with a fantastic economy rate of 5.37 and 20 wickets at 19.20. It was another fantastic IPL season for him. T Natarajan, on the other hand, was the season’s best find. He’s not a novice at 29 years old, and he’s been around the franchise for a while.

Players to look out from Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2021:

Jonny Bairstow —

Jonny Bairstow’s first season in the IPL was in 2019. There was much discussion about how he would handle David Warner at the top of the order. They were, however, both as a pair and individually, completely fantastic. Though Warner started where he left off in 2017, Bairstow made a good start to his IPL career.

Virat Singh —

You will be shocked to see Virat Singh’s name on this list. The left-handed Jharkhand batsman, on the other hand, may be crucial in the middle order. The Sunrisers are well-known for their top-heavy lineup. Their top order possesses the majority of their firepower. However, once you get past that, they begin to fall apart.

Predictions for IPL 2021:

Last year’s IPL saw SRH reach Qualifier 2, and they should be able to do so again this year. Jonny Bairstow and Bhuvneshwar Kumar are two main players who are in excellent form. Places in the XI are extremely competitive, especially in the speed, overseas, and middle-order divisions. There will be no stopping SRH if they can find a meaningful balance early in the tournament. SRH is a well-rounded team that can fit in well in the places they’ve been appointed to. They are, at least on paper, one of overall favourites for the IPL 2021 season.

Probable Playing XIs for the first Match:

David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Manish Pandey, Vijay Shankar, Priyam Garg, Jason Holder, Abdul Samad, Rashid Khan, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Sandeep Sharma, T Natarajan
