Top 5 Women’s Cricketer in International One Day Cricket (ODI) Format 

Here are the top 5 International women’s cricketers in ODI according to the ranking done by ICC last year.
According to the ODI ranking done by ICC in year 2019 there are three cricketers from Australian women’s team, one from West Indies Women’s team and one from Indian cricket team.

1.STAFANIE TAYLOR (West Indies Women’s) 

Stafanie Taylor holds the top spot in ODI ranking of women’s cricket teams with 747 points. She is a top class all-rounder from West Indies Women’s cricket team and their skipper too. A right-handed batsmen and off break bowler, Taylor was selected as the 2011 ICC women’s cricketer of the year and she is the first West Indian to receive this honour. She is having a phenomenal batting average of 44.1 in more than 120 ODI matches with the help of 5 tons and 36 half centuries. Her bowling figures are extraordinary too as she has taken 142 wickets at economy rate of 3.42 only.
She is the top performer from her side in the recently concluded ICC women’s world cup.

2.ALYSSA HEALY(Australia Women’s) 

Alyssa Healy, the Australian women’s team destructive wicket keeper Opener holds second position in ICC women’s ODI ranking with 736 points. She made her ODI debut in 2010 and from that time her strike rate near goes down to 100. She is married to Australian pacer Mitchell Starc and both are giving tough competition to their opponents in international cricket. She is having a batting average of 32.11 in 73 ODI matches with help of three tons too. She has become the worst nightmare of many bowlers in international women’s cricket because of her destructive batting style. Performed really well in recently concluded ICC women’s world cup and finishes at second place in the list of individual highest run scorers.

3.ELLYSE PERRY (Australia Women’s)

Ellyse Perry, the experienced Australian all-rounder who can give tough fight to men’s cricketer too holds third position in ICC women’s ODI ranking with 734 points.
Her full name is Ellyse Alexandra Perry who had made her debut for both the Australian cricket and the Australia Women’s national soccer team at the age of 16 but preferred to play cricket. She is an experienced player who has played 112 ODI matches and batted at a phenomenal average of more than 50 and taken 152 wickets too at an economy rate of 4.33 only. She has claimed ICC women’s cricketer of the year several times since her debut.

4.SMRITI MANDHANA (Indian Women’s) 

Smriti Mandhana, the destructive Opener of Indian women’s team, holds fourth position in ICC women’s ODI ranking with 732 points. The left hander Batsman was so good that she was called up by the Maharashtra under 15 team at the age of just 9 and for the under 19 team at the age of 11. She is having an extraordinary batting average of 43.08 in 51 ODI matches with strike rate near to 100. In June 2018,the Board of Control for Cricket in India named her as Best Women’s International Cricketer. She is the first Indian woman to score a double century in ODI games. Smriti is the only Indian player to feature in the ICC women’s team of the year in 2016.

5.MEG LANNING (Australia Women’s) 

Meghann Moira Lanning, the Australian skipper as well as the Perth Scorchers holds fifth position in ICC women’s ODI ranking with 717 points. She holds the record for the most career centuries in women’s ODI, with thirteen. She had batted at an average of more than 50 in 80 ODI matches with strike rate near to 100. At the age of 20,she broke the record of the fastest 50 and fastest 100 in ODI by Australian female cricketer. Lanning is the only batsmen in women’s international cricket to score more than 10 tons.
